Lewis J. Perna, LCSW-R has more than 35 years of direct mental health experience; a Masters in Social Work from Syracuse University in May 1995; is Licensed by the NY State Office of Professional Education as a Licensed Certified Social Worker, certified by the Academy of Clinical Social Workers.

• 20 years of direct service work in a variety of settings for emotionally disturbed children and adolescents.
• Ten year history of outpatient crisis counseling and short term psychotherapy.
• Five year history as the Coordinator of the Psychiatric Emergency Center providing psychiatric assessment, crisis intervention services and stabilization of emergent psychiatric needs of a wide spectrum of patients.
• Teaching - Five years as an adjunct faculty including:

  • Adjunct Instructor for The Greater Rochester Collaborative, School of Social Work.
